Hengrave Hall Wedding Photography
I go to some very lovely weddings but it is always a good indicator of a very special one when I think to myself, as I travel home after a long day, how very nice it would be to stay a while longer there with the lovely people I have met that day. This was certainly the case when I did the Hengrave Hall wedding photography for Dan and Sushma at the beginning of March. This charismatic couple had equally charming parents and siblings who were all so welcoming and their genuine warmth and sense of fun made for a very special day.
The bright March wedding morning started in the stunning bridal suite at Hengrave Hall with Sushma and her bridesmaids. All were extremely relaxed and I thoroughly enjoyed capturing images of both their cheerful anticipation of the day and also the beautiful items that Sushma had chosen for her bridal details.
Dan and his groomsmen were making their own preparations along the corridor in the boys room whilst keeping a careful eye on what I was assured was a ‘vital’ football match on the widescreen monitor.
My beautiful bride with the most radiant smile as she finished her preparations for the day ahead.
Meanwhile, the lovely little church in the grounds of Hengrave Hall had been beautifully decorated with an abundance of flowers and little candles, including rich red roses and the foliage of eucalyptus and viburnum.
Sushma and her father walked across from the Hall in the warm sunshine with the beads on her lovely gown sparkling in the light. I was then able to capture two of my favourite moments at weddings…… the first being the poignant moment when a proud father leads his daughter into the church and the second, as the groom looks around to see his bride for the first time in the day.
After making the most of the afternoon sunshine in the Hengrave Hall gardens, Sushma and Dan headed back into the warmth for a champagne reception before the wedding breakfast.
The speeches after dinner were very polished and entertaining, particularly from Dan’s younger brother and then after Sushma had thrown her bridal bouquet into what appeared to be several netball teams of young ladies, the guests danced the night away to the fabulous band, Pinstripe Suit.
